When you arrive in the Czech Republic, a customs officer may ask simple questions. The officer may ask, “What is the purpose of your trip?” You can say, “I am here for tourism.” The officer may also ask how long you will stay. Say, “I will stay for fourteen days, from October 3 to October 17.”
Be ready to show your passport, hotel information, and return ticket. You may be asked where you are staying, who is traveling with you, and which cities you will visit. The officer may also ask about your job, money, food, or medicine in your luggage. If you have nothing special to report, say, “Nothing to declare.” Listen carefully, answer truthfully, and politely ask the officer to repeat a question if needed.
