There are many people at our school. Your teachers help you learn new things every day. But other important people work hard for you at school, too. They keep you safe, help you stay healthy, and help you learn in other ways. Let's learn about some of these wonderful people.
There is a guard at the school gate every day. His job is to keep everyone safe. He checks students and visitors every morning. He comes to school very early to open the gate. You can always see him at the gate in the morning and afternoon.
There is a nurse in the health room. She can help you when you feel sick or hurt. There is also a nutritionist at our school. A nutritionist plans healthy meals for everyone. She works with the cook every day to make a healthy and delicious lunch for all the students.
There is a janitor at school, too. A janitor is a school worker. His job is to fix broken desks and chairs in the classroom. He also helps to clean the hallways and restrooms every day. The librarian works in the school library. She can help you find good books to read or study in a quiet place.
