Jason had a bad habit. Every night, he enjoyed spending hours on his phone. He watched videos and forgot to go to bed on time. Sometimes he stayed up until midnight. His parents worried about him, but he did not think it was a big problem.
One Monday morning, Jason fell asleep in class. His teacher asked him to stay after school. "Jason, I can see that you are very tired," she said. "Please think about your habits." That evening, Jason decided to change. He told himself that he would stop using his phone after nine o'clock at night.
The first few nights were difficult. Jason missed the videos he had enjoyed watching. However, he kept trying. He started to enjoy reading books before bed. He also remembered to pack his school bag and finish his homework before dinner. Things began to feel different.
Two weeks later, Jason noticed a big change. He stopped feeling tired every morning, and his grades became much better. He no longer forgot to bring his homework to class. He even began to enjoy the quiet nights without his phone.
Jason learned that deciding to break a bad habit is not easy, but it is worth it. He told his friends, "Stop wasting time on your phone. You will enjoy life more when you stop." Now, Jason is proud of the change he has made.
