My name is Kevin, and I have a younger brother named Andy. He is twelve years old, and I am fourteen. We always love to compare ourselves to each other. Last week, my mother decided to measure our height. She looked at us both and smiled. "Kevin, you are as tall as Andy now!" she said. I could not believe it at first.

Andy has grown very fast this year. Even though I am two years older than him, we are now the same height. My father laughed and said that Andy might be even taller than me next year. I know it is possible because Andy eats much more than I do every day.

We also found out that Andy can run as fast as I can. Last month, we both joined the school sports meet. When the results came out, Andy's time was as good as mine in the one-hundred-meter race. Our teacher smiled and said, "You two brothers are truly as fast as each other!" I was proud of Andy, but also a little surprised.

However, we are not the same in everything. Andy is not as quiet as I am. He loves to talk and laugh all day long. I am not as active as Andy when it comes to sports. He plays basketball with his friends every afternoon after school, but I prefer staying home and reading books. Still, being different does not mean we cannot get along well.

My mother always says that it does not matter if we are the same height or run at the same speed. What matters is that we support and care for each other. I think she is right. Andy may not be as tall as me forever, but he will always be my best brother.
