Every year, Jason's school holds a big event in the school theatre. This year, students from all grades can participate in a drama competition. Each team must choose a short play and perform it on stage. Jason and his three friends talk about it for a long time, and they finally decide to join. They think it is a wonderful chance to show their talent and have a great time together.

The teacher asks each class to choose one representative to be the team leader. Jason's class chooses him because he is a good actor and always stays calm. After school every day, the team meets in the library to plan their play. They use the internet to find ideas, and they watch many short videos and read stories online. Jason writes down all the best ideas in his notebook so everyone can discuss them later.

In the beginning, Jason is unable to remember all of his lines. He feels a little worried, but his friend Mia helps him practice every afternoon. Little by little, he gets better and better. The team also makes some posters to tell people about their show. They use tape to put the colorful posters up in the school hallway and near the front gate. They want to attract as many students and parents as possible to come and watch.

On the big day, the theatre is full of people. Many students and parents arrive early and want to take a photograph with the team before the show starts. Jason's grandfather also comes from his home to watch. He retired two years ago and now lives on his pension, but he never misses an important moment for his grandson. Seeing so many faces in the crowd makes the whole team feel both nervous and excited.

The judges sit at the front of the stage and assess each team one by one. They look carefully at the acting, the costumes, and the story. During an earlier practice session, the judges come to watch and reject the first version of Jason's team's play because the ending is not clear enough. They ask the team to make some changes. Jason and his friends work very hard and fix it before the final show.

In the end, Jason's team wins first place in the competition. The victory makes everyone very happy. Some students even cry with joy, and the crowd claps for a long time. The teacher stands up and tells the class that joining activities like this is very good for their academic growth. School is not just about getting good grades, but also about learning to trust each other and solving problems together.
