When I was young, I always loved animals. My interest in animals grew even stronger when I got a dog named Mochi five years ago. Watching our family vet take care of him made me realize something important. I decided that I want to become a vet when I grow up. Being a vet is not just a job — it is my dream career.
To become a vet, I know that I need to study hard and learn many skills. Science and biology are very important because understanding animal health is the key to helping them. After high school, I plan to go to college and major in veterinary medicine. In order to get into a good college, I have to keep my grades high and work toward my goal every single day.
I have already started taking steps to prepare for my future. I joined a club at school where we learn about animal care, and I have volunteered at a local animal shelter twice this year. These experiences have shown me that being a vet requires not only knowledge but also a kind heart and great patience.
Over the next three years, I have a clear plan. First, I will focus on my science classes and improve my English, since many veterinary books are written in English. Then, I will look for more chances to volunteer with animals and learn from experienced vets. If I put in enough effort, I will be one step closer to achieving my dream.
I have decided that I will never give up, no matter how difficult the journey may be. Step by step, I believe I can achieve my goal. If I keep working hard, I will become the vet I have always dreamed of being — and that thought fills me with hope and excitement.
