Our school has a long and interesting history. The building was first built about sixty years ago, in 1964. At that time, it was designed for only three hundred students. Now, more than one thousand students come here every day to study and learn.
Over the years, many changes were made to make the school better. A library was opened in 1995 to give students a quiet place to read. Computer rooms were added a few years later. A small garden was also planted behind the main building. These new places were all built for students to enjoy.
Five years ago, the school was damaged by a heavy storm. Many parts of the building were repaired right away. The old walls were painted white again, and broken windows were fixed quickly. New lights were also put in every classroom. After the repairs were done, the school looked as clean and bright as the day it was first opened.
Many exciting events are held at our school every year. A big sports day was held in the gym last October. Beautiful art works were displayed in the main hall during the school fair in November. These events were planned by teachers and students together, and many parents were invited to join.
We are very proud of our school's long history. The building was not only built for classes—it was built for our memories. It was repaired and improved many times over the years. We hope to keep it beautiful for all the students who will come after us.
