There were stubborn disagreements among researchers, and some teams had serious quarrels over which design approach was best. Before leaving, Emily joined a short quiz organized by the museum staff. She answered every question correctly and looked genuinely thankful when the staff member handed her a small certificate. The certificate reminded them both that unless people keep asking questions, we will never truly get out of the problems that technology creates.
