Ben is a student at Greenfield Academy who often feels bored in class. Last week, he scored an F on his health quiz because he had stayed up late the night before playing video games instead of reading his textbook. He later told his teacher he had called in sick, but the truth was different. His teacher did not tolerate excuses and warned him firmly: "You are likely to fail the whole course if you do not change your habits."

To motivate the class, the teacher organized a health fair in the gym. Each group set up a booth and displayed their work. Ben's group presented the topic of bacteria. They explained that a single bacterium can multiply into millions within hours, and that eating too much instant food or unhealthy dessert can weaken the body. They also learned that eating vegetables like carrots every day can help cure minor illnesses, and that doctors often forbid patients from skipping breakfast.

During the event, Ben found it interesting to read a textbook chapter about natural disasters. He learned that hurricanes and earthquakes can destroy important buildings and roads, and that a broken dam can flood entire towns. At a nearby booth, he noticed a colorful feather on a student's costume from a ballet performance. In spite of the busy schedule, he enjoyed every part of the fair.

On the way home, Ben found a flat tyre on his bicycle. He pulled the brake and stepped off the road carefully. While waiting beside a narrow alley, he spotted a weed growing through a crack in the sidewalk. He thought about how small things, like a bacterium or a weed, can become big problems if ignored. From that day on, Ben decided to stop staying up late and take better care of his health.
